Hi Joris,

I've been told that this board exhibits this same problem even without
the DM conversion.

"PMIC: PFUZE3000 DEV_ID=0x0 REV_ID=0xfffffffb
read error from device: 9df65458 register: 0x69!
write error to device: 9df65458 register: 0x23!
write error to device: 9df65458 register: 0x31!"

I suggest trying to do a git bisect on the existing non-DM code to
root-cause where the error creeps in.
