Uboot 2021.07 Hung Kernel bug

Hello,

I am using the fully released version of uboot 2021.07 on a 4GB RPI 4
running buildroot with kernel 5.4.y. I was initially using uboot 2020.10
with this same setup and had no issues.

The Problem:
When booting/rebooting the system, the system halts due to a hung task
about 50 percent of the time. When I told the kernel to panic when it got
hung, it fails to reboot and the system halts. The only way to solve this
is to power cycle the RPI.

I have attached two images to this email. Once shows the hung kernel. The
other shows the system trying to reboot after it is hung and failing.
