The current beta (2007-11-27 build) is based on a 2.6.22 kernel tree;
the commit above came later.

This will be fixed in the next beta / final release.

I don't think these were the *exact* commands.

The target name for the default configuration is
"mpc8540_ads_defconfig".

I just verified that the current DENX-v2.6.23-stable branch builds
fine for this board, both for ARCH=ppc and for ARCH=powerpc
configurations.
