[ELDK] GDB Issue

Hi Detlev,

Thanks for the response. While I am still unsure of a few things, I have a
workaround for the problem. If I launch gdb without specifying a binary then
set the architecture and use the "add-symbol-file" command with an address
to load the binary in I am able to debug.

"What exactly do you mean by "built with U-Boot"?"

I misspoke. I meant the tool chain that is built with the ELDK that is used
to build U-Boot.

"Can you please give the pre-compiled binaries from our ELDK 4.2 and 4.1 a
go?"

Could you point me in the direction to find these? I didn't see them on the
website or in the ppc-2008-04-01_amcc.iso that I have

Nate

This looks fishy indeed.

What exactyl do you mean by "built with U-Boot"?

Can you please give the pre-compiled binaries from our ELDK 4.2 and 4.1
a go?

Thanks!
  Detlev
