[ELDK] Issues building ELDK-4.2 from scratch

Hi, Denk.

So far, I was told that ELDK 5.x does not support ppc_4xx anymore... I need to build kernel 3.x.x for ppc_4xx.

Today we use ELDK 4.0, but it cannot build kernel 3.x.x. We got the error:

The ELDK 4.2 build kernel 3.x.x but it looks too new to build other packages we use, for example coreutils.

So, I'm trying get used to the ELDK and maybe back port some patches to ELDK 4.0. I did not play with ELDK-4.1 yet.

May I ask (just out of curiosity) why you are still using ELDK 4.2?
We're working on the 5.1 release now, so I really wonder why you are
stuck with 4 year old stuff?

This will most probably not work.
