Cool, I believe FSL wanted to demonstrate they can mix alien DNA with human DNA 
(in the words of X-Files ;-) ) ... or to put it simply, they wanted to 
demonstrate they can use the MXS IP in their chips and maybe show the 
acquisition of MXS wasn't a complete waste (this is just a conspiracy theory 
though). They did similar crossbreed with mx53 bootrom.
