I just had a similar issue on socfpga (where this is set to 0x2000) and I
found most of the actually required ~1.2 KiB are used to instantiate (not
probe) uclasses and devices that are only probed after DDR is available.
I'm working on concepts to reduce this, but I haven't found a straight way
out, yet.
