It's the same style currently used and maintained in the Linux kernel. The .clang-format file was copied from the repo without modification.

To disable the code formatting on those blocks, it is advisable to utilize

The topic of coding style often generates considerable debate. A single coding style cannot universally accommodate everyone's needs.
