[ELDK] ppc_6xx link segmentation fault

I am using ELDK version 4.2 ppc_6xx Build 2008-04-01

I am trying to build Qt 4.6.0 and I get a segmentation fault when the
build tries to link the QtWebKit library.  When I build Qt 4.5.2 the
QtWebKit library links correctly.  I thought that a change in Qt 4.6.0
might be breaking the build but I was able to build using Freescales
mpc5121ads ltib tools.  Does anyone have any debug techniques that I
can use to try and figure out why the eldk ppc_6xx compiler is seg
faulting on this link operation?
