The checkout procedure for the OE git tree was different from a "git clone" -- it used yet another repository tool. Is there an easier way to grab this stuff?

I don't want to ask for trouble. I don't quite understand yet how recipes are located/overloaded. And, like all languages/systems with inheritance, you are stuck with tracking down all the ancestral behaviors and context.

The ZIP download worked fine. The ntp branch is not under meta-oe now, but under meta-networking:

meta-oe-master/meta-networking/recipes-support/ntp

Where should I graft the ntp branch on to the ELDK git tree?
